Chinese Zodiac Rooster

Overview

The Rooster is the tenth in the cycle of the 12 zodiacs or horoscope signs in the Chinese animal astrology system. It is associated with the earthly branch You which is associated with the 9th month and between the hours of 5 P.M. and 7 P.M.

Traits

In Chinese legend the Rooster is the animal that passes advice from heaven. They are intuitive, honest and intelligent. They are also steady and have a modern outlook. They make good decisions and are usually successful in business and career. They are particularly astute in business and financial negotiations. They are courageous, accept challenges and are rarely defeated by obstacles.

Roosters are independent and have an active social life. They enjoy well dressed and polite company. Rooster men like to impress women with their appearance and intelligent conversation whiles Rooster women are usually loving and attractive. However once they commit themselves to marriage, they are dedicated partners

Roosters however can be rude, impatient and straightforward, in fact so straightforward that they are often hurtful. They like to be the centre of attention, and often appear to friends as an exhibitionist who prefers talking to acting. Roosters also distrust others and rarely accept friendly advice.

Roosters are also bad financial managers who may spend their earnings quickly and carelessly.

Compatibility

They are more compatible with the Ox, Snake and Dragon and less compatible with the Rabbit.

Suitable Career

Roosters are suited to a career in the service industry and foreign affairs. They are also suited to a career as an entertainer, author, politician or uniformed services.

Practical Advice

They should learn to take advise from their elders. They should be careful with their actions and behaviour and not alienate their friends. It pays to be more careful with they say and clarify all misunderstanding as soon as possible.
Roosters may lack perseverance and they should never abandon hope when faced with difficulties. They should have the confidence with themselves but be polite and kind and do not discriminate.

Finally Rooster should improve their money management skills and learn how to invest wisely.
