Auspicious Dates to Resume Business after the Chinese New Year Holidays in 2010
Chinese New Year day which marks the 1st day of the Chinese Lunar calendar falls on the 14th February this year (2010). It is a “Geng Yin” year or the Year of the Metal Tiger.
For management of the annual energies or qi, please refer to my article, “Feng Shui 2010”.
A popular question during this period is when to re-open business or get back to work after the break. Here is my recommendation.
17th February 2010 (4th Day of the Lunar Month)
This is a Success day. Although there are not a lot of auspicious stars on this date it is usable. Those born in the year of the Dragon should not use this day.
21st February 2010 (8th Day of the Lunar Month)
This is an Establish day. There are some good stars on this day and it is usable unless you are a Monkey. I know it is a Sunday but some businesses e.g. entertainment & retail can commence work on a Sunday.
22nd February 2010 (9th Day of the Lunar Month)
This is a Divest day. Although there is an absence of auspicious stars on this day it is still usable unless you are a Rooster. I have suggested this date as the next available day is at least a few days away!
25th February 2010 (12th Day of the Lunar Month)
This is Set day. The energy of the day is excellent and you should use this day unless you are born in the year of the Rat.
Have a great year of the Metal Tiger!
